Meet Our New Owners

We are very excited to announce Celia Williams and Richard Griguoli are the new owners of Simply Beauty, Christchurch.

It’s an exciting time for our chain of salons as they bring new energy, new ideas and new focus to the group.

Celia was born in Nelson and raised in Christchurch. After studying law at the University of Otago, her studies took her to California, USA, in 2006 where she passed the bar to practice law in California. Whilst studying at the University of California Santa Barbara (UCSB), Celia met fellow student and future husband Richard.

Richard grew up in Shell Beach, California and has always been heavily involved with professional rescue services. He helped developed the Water Rescue Team for the Santa Barbara City Fire Department where he worked as a Firefighter for fourteen years and coordinated fundraising for the Fire Association's Charity.

The couple ran several businesses in the USA including a digital marketing company for local restaurants and bars.

With a 2 year old daughter and another daughter due early next year, Richard and Celia have moved back to New Zealand to raise their family. They have built a new home in Sumner, near Celia’s parents.

So a new home, new baby due and new business! It’s a busy and exciting time for the couple who are focused on training and growing the treatment choices offered by the experienced Simply Beauty team. They are passionate about delivering stunning treatments, every visit, at all three salons.
